About Dr. Krol

Dr. Krol is a board certified, fellowship trained, medical oncologist hematologist and part of the multidisciplinary team of cancer experts at The Anderson Family Cancer Institute. She specializes in breast and gynecologic cancers and collaborates with other physician specialists to create a personalized treatment plan that’s best for you. As your physician she may prescribe treatment including chemotherapy, hormone therapy, targeted therapy or immunotherapy. Palliative care can also be implemented to complement standard cancer therapies.

Clinical Expertise

Prior to joining Jupiter Medical Center, Dr. Krol served as a Medical Oncologist specializing in Breast Cancer and Gynecologic Cancer for the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Oncology Center of Excellence. She also was the Cancer Prevention and Risk Reduction Scientifi c Expert for the FDA Oncology Center of Excellence Nation and the National Cancer Institute (NCI). At the NCI, she served in the Division of Cancer Prevention for breast and gynecologic cancer and was a member of the working group for supportive care and symptom management. Her clinical work was centered around patients undergoing cancer care at George Washington University in Washington DC.

Dr. Krol also spent several years as an ABC News Medical Unit Health Care Journalist in New York City, working exclusively on medical breaking news for Good Morning America, World News, Nightline, and ABC 7 New York Health & Wellness segments. She has published journalism articles for health care topics and numerous clinical research papers.

As an oncologist specializing in cancer prevention, high-risk assessment, and the treatment of breast and gynecologic malignancies, my philosophy of care centers on providing personalized and evidence-based medicine. Whether we are developing prevention goals, managing high-risk concerns, or navigating a cancer diagnosis and treatment plan, I’m committed to walking alongside my patients with clear communication and unwavering support. My goal is to empower each individual to feel confi dent and cared for at every step of their journey.
