About Dr. Vaughan

On staff at Jupiter Medical Center since 1995, Dr. Jefferson R. Vaughan is highly regarded among his peers for his technical skills, excellent outcomes, and low complications rates. 

After graduating from Birmingham Southern College, Dr. Vaughan attended the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. He completed an internship and residency in General Surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami, Florida. 

Dr. Vaughan is proficient in Laparoscopic weight loss surgery. In addition, he performs an entire range of general surgery, including gallbladder removal, hernia repairs, heartburn surgery, colon and intestinal surgery, stomach surgery and skin cancer surgery.
