About Dr. Ortiz de Choudens

Dr. Ortiz de Choudens graduated Magna Cum Laude as a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Puerto Rico. She went to complete her radiation oncology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin, serving as Chief Resident, Radiation Oncology Department. Dr. Ortiz de Choudens also served as an Instructor in Radiation Oncology at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

She has experience in all types of radiation treatment for cancer patients including stereotactic radiosurgery, high dose rate brachytherapy for gynecologic malignancies, low dose rate brachytherapy for prostate seed implants and eye plaque therapy as well as intravascular brachytherapy. Dr. Ortiz de Choudens has participated in clinical research studies, has been published in peer-reviewed journals.
