About Lara

Lara is a board certified, licensed, advanced nurse practitioner who specializes in women’s health and comprehensive care throughout a woman’s life span. Since 2016 Lara has been in practice in breast surgical oncology. 

Lara was raised in Maryland, she followed in her father’s and sister’s surgical footsteps and from her love of medicine, graduated in 1991 with her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Johns Hopkins University.

Lara continues to provide high quality, compassionate treatment and teaching to women facing breast cancer to ensure seamless continuity of care and optimal surgical outcomes. She also manages benign breast disease, breast pain and those in need of high-risk breast screening surveillance.

Lara is part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing patients with the highest quality, most compassionate care.
